Bryant, Arkansas · CES Waiver Provider

Every person deserves to belong, grow, and thrive.

We are a licensed CES Waiver provider in Bryant. We help adults and children with developmental disabilities get connected with a caregiver - and then we stand behind the person doing the caring.

You are in the right place

We are glad you came.

Finding the right support for someone you love can feel overwhelming. You want them to be seen, included, and given every chance to reach their full potential - not just managed.

That is the heart of what we do. Abbacy Care of Arkansas is a licensed CES Waiver provider. We help the person you love get connected with a caregiver - and in most families, that caregiver is someone already doing the caring. A mom, a daughter, a sister.

From there, most of our work is with you. We carry the paperwork, keep everything current with the state, and stay on the other end of the phone. Families tell us our office feels peaceful and our team feels like family - and that is exactly how we want you to feel from the first hello.

The CES Waiver

Getting connected to what you qualify for.

The Community and Employment Support (CES) Waiver is an Arkansas Medicaid program that helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities get support in their own home and community, rather than in an institution.

Applying for it, and keeping it current, takes paperwork. That is where we come in.

  • Help applying through Arkansas DHS
  • Getting connected with a caregiver
  • Understanding where you are in the process
  • Building the person-centered service plan
  • Keeping paperwork current year to year
  • A real person to call when a form does not make sense

Why we started Abbacy Care

Built by people who have done the work.

From a young age, Melissa felt called to help others. She spent years as a direct support professional, walking beside adults and children with all kinds of disabilities.

She met her husband, Charlie, who shared the same heart - shaped by the love and care he gave his own sister. Together they decided to open a place of their own, so they could give families the kind of personal, dependable support they had always believed in.

Having done the caring herself, Melissa knows what it takes out of a person - and how little of the help is aimed at the caregiver. That is the gap Abbacy exists to fill. We are personal with every client and every family, because to us, everyone matters.

Licensed by Arkansas DHS

Abbacy Care of Arkansas holds a Community and Employment Support (CES) Waiver license through the Arkansas Department of Human Services - so the families we serve can trust the care behind our name.

Rooted in our community.
